Are you traveling down a one-way street or a two-way street? Driving on a one-way street is normally very easy. You and the traffic are all flowing in one direction: forward. Contrast this with a two-way street. While you are certainly focused on the direction you are driving, you cant help but notice the cars driving in the opposite direction,headed toward where you just came from. Your attention is diverted and scattered. We could make an analogy here: to be successful, focus on what you want, where you are going, and what it will look and feel like having whatever it is your heart is set on. Make sure all your thoughts travel in the same direction. Dont create a traffic jam in your mind. If you focus on your goal but also look around at what others are doing, dwell on what you do not have, take too little action, think about what could go wrong, tell everyone your desire, and concern yourself with what people might say, then you may dilute the energy needed for success. Succeeding is not difficult; faulty thinking throws up roadblocks. Keep looking forward, know what you want to have, and focus on how success will feel.
