Are you working on your university application at the moment to get it completed for the UCAS January deadline? One of the sections we always get asked advice about at UCAS conventions is how to fill out your personal statement. It can be quite a daunting prospect and hard to know where to begin so thankfully UCAS have put together a very comprehensive section on their website: ucas/how-it-all-works/undergraduate/filling-your-application/your-personal-statement We have also found a useful series on the Guardian website which provides tips on producing subject-specific personal statements for your university application: theguardian/education/series/how-to-write-a-personal-statement One top tip from us: Always prepare your personal statement in a Word document first so that you can check the spelling and grammar, it’s a really simple one but very important as first impressions count!
