The overall purpose of this position is to manage several Client portfolios, Operations Managers, Supervisors and a large Security Officer compliment, which involves the following key areas; Security Operations, Transport, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Financial, etc. The Area Manager reports to a Branch Manager. Minimum Requirements Matric/Grade 12 Certificate, Must be PSIRA Grade A registered and accredited, At least 10 years experince in the Security Industry At least 5 years relevent Management experience in the Security Industry, (Senior Management). HR and IR Experience. (CCMA, / Disciplinary Hearings etc). Working knowledge of the Fire arm Act is required, People Management experience, Computer Literacy, Strong planning, leadership and organizational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Own reliable Transport, Must Reside in the Cape Town Area. Job Specification Managing major Client portfolios. Managing Operations Managers / Site Managers / Supervisors / and subordinates to ensure that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client, Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered, Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services, General management and supervision of and supervision of Security staff to ensure that required performance is met at all times, Dealing with all required administration matters, Liasing daily with management on various operational issues, Submitting relevent weekly/monthly incident and general reports as required by Management.
