Argh! What should I do? School starts Monday. I thought I had some help coming from the Department of Rehab Services but as of today they havent even begun a plan. Ive been given a new worker. Anyway, no school money there. On top of that, Im not sure theyd even let me register for classes if I dont begin retaking the courses that will go out of validation this semester. Thank god I only went part-time!!! They insist I revalidate as I go along, but Id rather do it at the end. And I prefer to do it by taking a comprehensive test and paying $25/credit hour rather than sitting through a whole semester again. And this is the real crux of the problem. Dr Rubenstein hinted at another method, but he really doesnt want the extra work. He honestly thought he had stalled me long enough to keep me from going that first semester. When we finally met last October he was literally scratching his head in frustration. How have I hung on this long? Im gonna dance till the music stops
