Aria Update: Ok so Aria and I rode down to Gainesville today for week 5 of her chemotherapy. She was a rock star today. She had Cheetos and Gatorade for breakfast...LOL...I figure if she is eating and as long as it will not make her ill then I will let her eat it...When we got to the hospital we did our usual routine of getting weight, height, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen level and heart rate...Then we went back into the infusion room where they access her port...Usually this is difficult and she does not like it so she screams and is unconsolable for like 20 minutes...However, today she went it sat like a big girl, cried for like 10 seconds with no tears and then was done crying...Then she ate 10-15 bites of a turkey and cheese sandwich and half a bag of lays bbq chips....sat for the hour that it takes to wait on labs while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins and 20 minutes that it takes for her to get her vincristine...sat still while the doctor talked to mommy and listened to her chest....then when it was time to take the access out she cried again for like 10 seconds again with no tears and then she was done...And then on the way home she sat in her carseat and ate a kids fry and two chicken nuggets from Wendys...I am so proud of how good she was today...I want to thank US Medical transport for the safe trip that you gave us...I truly do appreciate it...Also, thank you everyone that is continually praying for her...Please keep praying for her...She sure can use them...
