Aria update: we just saw our vet and Aria is scheduled to have her upper canine extracted on Tuesday. This is the suspected cause of why she cant close her mouth. Her swelling is down so it does not appear the tooth will move back to a position which allows her mouth to close. He feels she is breathing through her nose only, which is great news. Once the tooth is removed, she should be able to eat normally again. He also feels confident she didnt sustain any neurological damage. Please keep her in your thoughts, on Tuesday, that the extraction is a success and he finds no other problems as a result of the bone fracture. Hopefully, she will go back to her normal self with no further issues. Thanks, again, for all your good thoughts and concern. Knowing that you all care about her and us means a lot. I will update again on Tuesday.
