Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you. So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. (1 King 17:9-10) God supplied Elijah where He told him to go not where Elijah was. His supply was over there. In Zarephath; the widow was there. The widow, chosen by God, was out doing what she could do. God says I supply, I am your provider. Both Elijah and the widow had to go where they needed to be in order to be supplied. God supplies us where he tells us to go, not where we are. We need to be there. Where? With God. God says we are to do what God says in faith. The will of God is a day by day experience of obedience ignited by His Grace and Love in Christ Jesus.
