Arizona Diamondbacks & Boston Red Sox have agreed in principle to a trade that will send LHP Wade Miley to Boston in exchange for RHP Rubby De La Rosa & RHP Allen Webster. The Diamondbacks will also receive a minor leaguer. Miley went 8-12 with a 4.34 ERA in 33 starts this season. De La Rosa went 4-8 with a 4.43 ERA in 19 games (18 starts) this season. Webster went 5-3 with a 5.03 ERA in 11 starts this season. The deal between the Phillies & Dodgers requires approval from the Commissioners Office since the Phillies are sending some money to the Dodgers in the trade. The Phillies will be trading shortstop Jimmy Rollins in exchange for possibly two young pitchers. A third team is also reportedly involved in the trade. Rollins hit .243 (131-538) with 17 home runs & 55 RBI in 138 games this season. Rollins has played his entire career with the Phillies (2000-present), hitting .267 with 2,306 hits, 216 home runs, & 887 RBI.
