Arkham Batman Ship Update: TDK refurbs Update: Parts for the Arkham Bat are being made for all orders! Carbon fiber requires about a week to make sure it wont degrade. Having tried soft urethane found that the CF peels, but on 60 shore or harder it appears to be fine test pieces still fine after a month. I have about 4 sets of bad dips and 1 test dip thats good. So prepping new parts to proceed for final dips. The suit now has a 30 shore exterior urethane skin backed up with flex foam dyed black. Its now lightweight and very flexible. But, I have found having changed to this style, you cant have any 90 degree corners ( foam tears ) even with a urethane skin! Hence and also funny my competitor using straight foam is dam silly. I had this problem with Quantum in a last minute fix at SDCC. I finished the new neck and while making parts I just need to change the knee to quad piece ( needs to be separate ) to allow for height adjustments which corrects this 90 degree issue. I have a pile of expensive guano in my shop form all the tests, and I mean a pile. So, hopefully I ship the couple of sets Monday and then a couple about every 3 days until everyone is out the door. Robin is on hold to get this done. TDK: Hold your breathe after SDCC I am tossing my molds all except cowl, neck and shoulders. To make them just like the movie, 99% accurate so take a seat and chill its going to be awhile for new orders and upgrades. Sorry for those whom been waiting a long time but I guess that complex I have is kicking in. I do have one modified C/F thats going out thats it for awhile. ( see the pics to see why) I get this all the time why start new projects when I dont have my suit? I have always multi tasked. While parts are cooking I sculpt, always have.!!!! Sometimes something is so hot and huge demand I will take a couple of days to sculpt it …
