Armani is not out of the woods yet. This past weekend, Armanis heart and lungs were showing signs of distress and the mass on his side has not reduced in size. He is stable now and being monitored at DBC. DBC co-founder Missi Bellottie is doing hot and cold compresses every 4 hours to help drain the mass and he is on a pain reliever. Yesterday, EVH (Emergency Veterinarian Hospital of Ann Arbor) sent out a biopsy of the mass for further testing. Should have results by end of the week. The aspirate taken last week said no cancer, but we are testing a larger tissue sample to make sure. Our vet thinks the mass is either the result of a terrible spider bite or it could be sarcoma. Thank you, everyone, for praying for our sweet boy. We also thank EVH for giving us a discount on all our medical bills, but the expenses are really adding up.
