Army Safety Tool Saves Lives and Dollars Army Readiness - TopicsExpress

Army Safety Tool Saves Lives and Dollars Army Readiness Assessment Program (ARAP) is a Web-based initiative that provides battalion-level commanders with data on their formation’s readiness posture through five segments, sampling culture and safety climate which include process auditing, rewards, quality assurance, risk management, and command and control. Based on a recent change to AR 385-10, commanders or their representatives will ensure that all battalion and battalion-equivalent organizations initiate enrollment into the ARAP within 90 days of assumption of command. A significant benefit to the commander is that all assessments are confidential. Only unit commanders or their designated representatives and the USACRC have access to results. A confidential debrief is conducted on a one-on-one basis between the commander and the USACRC/SC. Commands that act upon candid results are able to see a significant return on their investment. This “value added” comes in the form of dollars saved on equipment costs and a reduction of personnel injuries. Discover the hidden value of ARAP! https://youtube/watch?v=0ZlZA-x3rWM
