High School visited Pointe-du-Hoc while in France for the 70th anniversary of D-Day During their visit, Cadets laid a wreath to honor John Edward “Buck” Griffrin, one of the #USArmy Rangers who scaled the 100-meter cliffs at Utah Beach on D-Day to knock out deadly German cannon. Griffin, an attorney from Athens, Penn., passed away in Athens in 2002.
