Around 2000 years ago, the world changed when an obscure peasant girl on the edge of the Roman Empire said her yes to God. Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word. Around 2000 years before that, the world changed when one man heard a voice calling him to leave everything familiar behind, and to travel to an unknown destination. So Abram went, as the Lord had told him. When we hear the voice of God and obey, the world changes. We may never know how the impact of how this might stretch out into history and into eternity.
