Around 745h, traffic was not moving along slex so i decided to go to Cash & Carry and eat something kc super hungry na. I went to the food stalls and checked out the siomai. When i was about to eat, i noticed the vendor was checking out if there are any more buyers, sensing there was none, he immediately took out a small magnolia ice cream container and opened it, and in it was cooked rice and he then put some soy sauce and started eating. Out of curiosity i looked closer at his meal and walang ulam talaga. he then eagerly spooned his precious rice meal with toyo as sabaw. The vendor looked pale and it bothered me so i asked him, bkit di ka kumiha ng siomai jan sa steamer and he said he wont cause he doesnt want to lose his job. Besides, they have a final count at the end of each day so its really bawal. I can tell he was telling the truth and it amazed me and at the same time made me forget about my siomai waiting to be eaten. I offered but he wouldnt take it. So i figured baka bawal din so i just ate a piece and said i didnt like it na and asked him to put away na lang. When i turned away, i looked back and i saw him gobble up the rest hurriedly. Then i thought, How can we complain so much when some people cant or dont even eat right? Just sharing.
