Around a year ago this time, we opened the Leonel J. Castillo Community Center, which used to be Robert E. Lee Elementary school - the first elementary school in HISD. Located in the Near Northside of Houston, the center now serves as a hub for resources, education and connection for residents in the area. We thank Harris County Precinct 2 Commissioner Jack Morman for helping us to share this gift with the neighborhood, and all of the partners who have joined us along the way to make this community center thrive.
