Around the year of Bengali era 1137 -1138, sometimes 271 years back, The reseeding voice of 19th century is discerned, and the call of 20th is being heard from forthcoming future. At this auspicious moment of the holy Janmastami tithi, a divine child was born in the Ghoshal Family at the village of Kachua under Mouja Chakla in the dist. of 24 Parganas of West Bengal.Incidentally, Lord Krishna was also born in the same day at the jail (Mathura) of Kansha. On this auspicious moment The fourth son of shri Ramnarayan Ghosal, who himself was a deity of Lord Shiva, incarnated on this earth. The newly born baby was radiating a divine light, highly bewildered Ramna rayan asked himself whether this was a human baby or a super powered one. The wife of Ramnarayan and the mother of this baby was Smt Kamala Devi, who instantly recollected that she is promised to his husband that when his 4th child will born she would sacrifice that child for “Sanyasa” or “Baptise” him for god forever. Days are gradually passed, the time came for giving a name for the child. He was named as ‘Loknath’.From his childhood ages the boy was like a saint by nature. Meditation, japa, Puja etc was matter of play. Finally at the adolescence stage of his life at the age of 11 years, when the time of upanayan sangskar, father Ram Narayan take recourse of the great vedic brahmin Bhagwan Ganguly at the adjacent village of Kakra. The said Bhagwan Ganguly was a great learned sage. After the upanayan sangskar, as per the promise ‘Loknath’ was been converted as a sannyashi and departed from his family with tears in eyes accompanied by one of his childhood best friend Beni Madhav and of course with guru Bhagwan. First of all his guru lead them to the pious land of Kalighat which is one of the greatest Sati pethas. The rigorous life of tapa yoga and meditation started instantly for their. This process was followed by further impetuous in different lands, holy places, and hill caves. “Loknath” achieved his ultimate siddhi or his super natural success of meditation after a long 40 years practice. “Loknath” achieved the Brahma gyan or consciousness of omnipotent power. Traveling across many inaccessible lands both geographically and spiritually, he covered with his guru. Once guru Bhagwan thought that who would take responsibility of his two disciples after his death. However his conscience came to confirm the great Taylanga Swami who was known as moving Shiva of Kasi and he went to him with two disciples . The great swami happily accepted them and set off for a journey towards Arab Israel and the other western countries. They came back again to India visited Kailas, Manas Sarobar, Amarnath, Badrinath,Kadernath which was the then inaccessible holy places. From there “Loknath” departed from Taylanga swami and came back to Bengal for the sake of welfare of human being. During his way to return one Dengu karmakar meet and find him as the light of his life and welcome him to Baradi in the dist of Dhaka of recent Bangladesh. It was that great place where he was immerged as the great “Mahajogi Sri Sri Loknath Bramhachari”. The local people along with the powerful jaminder also became bhakt or Deity of Baba Loknath. It was the jaminder or Landlord of Baradi who constructed the first Ashram of Baba at the bank of river Baghini (Meghna).
