Around this time twenty years ago, our family moved from the United States to Mexico City where we would live for almost four years. While it was during one of Mexicos most turbulent times full of crime and poverty, I thank my family in Mexico for making the best of our stay. Thanks to you guys, Spanish became my first language. ____ Hace veinte años, nuestra familia se mudo de los Estados Unidos a la Ciudad de Mexico donde vivimos por casi cuatro años. Aunque fue durante tiempos dificieles en Mexico, le doy las gracias a mi familia en Mexico por ayudarnos y apoyarnos con lo que podian. Gracias a ustedes el español fue mi primer idioma.
