Arrest warrants out for Lee, Cornejo, et al ABS-CBNnews Posted at 04/14/2014 3:23 PM | Updated as of 04/14/2014 3:23 PM MANILA - The Taguig Municipal Trial Court (MTC) Branch 74 has issued arrest warrants for Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo and five others involved in the mauling of actor-host Vhong Navarro, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima confirmed on Monday. Prosecutor General Claro Arellano said Taguig MTC Branch 74 Judge Bernard Bernal issued the warrants of arrest last Friday, April 11. Copies of the arrest warrants have been sent to the stakeholders in the case, he said. Last Thursday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said it found probable cause to charge Lee, Cornejo, Bernice Lee, Ferdinand Guerrero, Simeon Raz, Jose Paolo Calma, and Jed Fernandez for the crimes of serious illegal detention and grave coercion. In its resolution dated April 4, the DOJ said it was clear that the group of Lee deprived Navarro of his liberty on January 22 up to the wee hours of January 23.
