Arrived at Exeter hospital yesterday to find that my niece Kelly, who has championed many battles, had hit a wall. Her medical event I wont go into, and its not that I lost hope, but had to pray for her will and Gods will, and realistic expectancies prepared me to say goodbye. Needless to say an emotional heart wrenching day. This morning when I arrived at the hospital, Kevin and Eileen were at her bed, and I looked at the heart monitor to see that her heart rate had climbed from 43 to 90, I looked at her and her eyes were open and Eileen was talking to her (she was still on ventilator and couldnt speak). This was a miracle! Soon after they removed the ventilator and she charged right in with chatting and being Kelly which was music to everyones ears. Now, 30 hours later I am heading back home, waiting to to be by myself to let these overwhelming emotions of joy flood my apartment! Thank you everyone for resonating prayers! M.
