Arrived at my hotel, absolutely starving, checked in, dumped my case in the room and went straight to the restaurant to order food. Sat down with a beer and began waiting patiently. Shortly after, a rather large yank rocks up on the table next to me and orders the house burger with fries etc etc. after about 20 mins, one of the bar staff approaches the yank with a pizza onion rings and chips (my order) and he appears over the moon and starts to tuck into it before i can say anything. Im sat here thinking hang on, thats my food - he ordered a burger??? Two mins later the original waitress comes over and says to the yank, sorry sir theres been a mistake, that food was meant for the gentleman over there (me!) his response was.....oh, I thought this was a complimentary starter!!!!! Cheeky t*at!
