Arrived at the Tudor City overpass at 3PM and all the prime spots were already taken. Found a decent spot five rows behind the fence. It was a little bit off centered but still afford a nice straight shot down 42nd St. However, as 8PM rolled around, the area got packed and more people managed to squeeze in front, tripods be damned. The last straw was when those folks in the front (waiting since noon, so I wont begrudge them that) decided to stand up and setup for their shots. I quickly realized that I wouldnt be able to get a clear line of sight anymore. Plan B went into effect and I got out of dodge without knocking over too many tripods and sprinted down 42nd St. to Second Ave. where there was a slight rise. With one eye behind me for traffic, I set the motor drive to high and shot away. This is the one shot where the disc of the sun was centered as best as possible. What do you all think?
