Arrived home after a week at Tribal Art. Unforgatable days... So, for me this was all new. Im a tottaly unknow in the Tribal world and I just saw this amazing Festival on the internet... Amazingly and surprisingly theyre having a spot for the 8th teacher, after they had chosen 7 amazing dancers on their panel. I applied and returned to my world expecting while not expecting any answer. One day while I was in a rehearsal with a contemporary dance project I received a phone call from a foreign number. On the other side it was a lady talking in Spanish and I hardly understood what she was saying. I got out of the studio I tried to understand what was happening. When I returned to the studio my heart was bumping and I said to my colleagues i no that this wont mean a lot to you but I was just told that I was choosen as a teacher and performer for the Tribal Art Fest... Then i just jumped, sreamed a little bit and then returned to the reharsal. Last week i didnt know what to expect. Im a dancer with no labels. I dont know if Im a Hip Hop dancer, a Waacker, a contemporary dancer a Tribal Fusion dancer, I just dance and thats what I do. Now I can thanks to Noemí Castell Makosh, Eva Tallada Buisan and Frankie for have believed in me. No words for that. Thank you for have given me the opportunity to teach, to perform my solo work and to have my dance company with me. Thanks to all the dancers that respected me and my work at the side of those amazing teachers, thanks for the applause at the show and all the feedback that you have given me. Im just overwhelmed that my work is valuable to you. To Anasma, Kami Liddle, Tjarda Van Straten, Idhun Darkfusion, Alexis Southall, Samantha Emanuel and Manca Pavli an enormous obrigada for receiving me as your pair. Share the studio and the stage with you was something that Ive never dreamed about. In the end a huge and never ending thank you to my girls Orchidaceae. For being with me for so many years, for sharing my ideas and most of all for believing me more then myself sometimes
