Arrived home from Circle T Arena, Hamilton. I vote them one of the best facilities in Texas. So nice to have two arenas and lots of warmup areas, and all under cover out of the sun. As I was leaving this morning, my scatter brain personality kicked in, Loaded horse, was unplugged from RV hookup, had buckets, haynets loaded, yes, thought I was ready to pull out, but left pickup keys in front feed manger in trailer, so I opened trailer door, and oh forgot I closed the butt bar and my sunvisor cap hit just right to block my site!! Oh I slammed head on into metal buttbar and for a minute nearly passed out, saw stars and melted to knees. WOW! that pipe doesnt have any give to it! Regained my composure and looked around to see if anyone was looking at my stupidity, and precede to act like nothing happened. Got to looking in mirror on the way home and I have a big black eye now.,and jammed my neck, and so sore. Will just blame it on my husband and tell everyone my husband beat me up. Really enjoyed the trip though and young horse handled everything really well.
