Arrived in Nicaragua last night. The weather is in the high 80s low 90s and very balmy. The water is in the low 80s and clear. The wind is always offshore at zero to 10 knots.There are big fish feeding off the beach in front of our hostel. The local beer called Tona is good and a buck a bottle There is a serious shortage of rental boards down here and I was really lucky to get something that I like. We surfed a beach break today and it was fun but nothing to write home about. But there are LOTS of other places to surf. So far I REALLY LIKE IT!! Ill post some photos later.
