Arrived lost ,directionless, and laydened with the bagadge typical of bramleys over packed systems and the kit needed for the unknown . This usaully amounts to every thing I own and it showed on the scales ,weighing in at 42 kgs . Fortunatly Barbell my dear sister was there to carry my stuff , as we left on the same flight to London. London, it should be spelt lndn to save space in the over corwded crampt city . The underground is not bigger than a Hi ace taxi just stretched and as crampted in rush hour. I finally made it to Julians digs which welcomed me with open arms. We leave the house julian is wearing a suite to central london and i get a feel for the consumerisim. My god there are so many shops, including 3 floors on M&M world which i quite enjoyed . Especially using 1 emalangeni ( 1 swazi money ) shape, color and diameter as a 1 Pound to trick M&m machine. Fish paste showed me around and educated me on the tube systems . We had agreat time together and really appreciated our friendship in london. I like london on a good day and made one cool french bohemian friend. Altough most people are blind , never looking at you or anything but there phones. Its like there are part of one big organiasm linked by wifi data iphone and tablets forgetting the importance of the person right next to you. Maybe we are just termites in one big conolony ,just a cell , for the greater good of the queen . Long live the Queen . London is, from now on, The flat Termite Mound. I visted family up north in Liecetser. northeners are a solid mix of chavs(comoners with rapid fire speech, uncomprehendable) indian half asian and posh people form the hourse and polo clubs. Currently im in Germany at my mate (Bernhards) place. Its about an hour out Munich. We are setting off into the alps today on the the GTA trail which starts in switzerland and the moves into itlay in day three. From there we walk allong the french border but stay in itlay along the alps of coarse. Passing a small village every couple of days were i can refuel and stock up. The trail goes all the way to the coast over 63 days if i stick to the schedule but well see how far i get in thirty days . I´ll walk until the end of july and be back in the Uk from the first week august. I bought some really great kit in the fantastic 4 floors 4500M2 hiking shop in munich. A light weight 160g petrol powered stove , a solar charging device for cameras , and a new ruck sack which is super comfy. Shopping/hunting since we are men / is great with such choice and variety. Once back in the Uk i plan to work on my uncles farms or what ever else i can do for temp work while minimizing rent costs and scoring free meals. For my planing and concerning the Trans africa trip. Im super excited at will jump head first into all the fun. Im off up trail... Will conect to wifi where possible Chat soon Best Sandi
