Arrived safely in Daytona Beach having spent the night at a gorgeous little beachside town half way up from Miami. Bikes travelled well and went for their first ride on USA soil in 88 years and 90 years for Brians and Hanss respectively. Have met some fascinating people, and have been so lucky to met Joe Gimpel, a fellow Cannonball rider, who has a magnificent workshop where the bikes have been housed. Registration went smoothly and official trial run happening tomorrow, so tinkering to get the oiling system just right for the main ride, starting Friday. The spirit is fantastic.....they just cant understand why we speak so funny..........and we think they speak funny! All good here and really enjoying the enthusiastic vibe.
