Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a CIO who will oversee all IT operations and provide vision, leadership, planning, project coordination and management of IT solutions to a client in the healthcare industry in Billings, MT. This position demonstrates a high level of expertise in Information Systems technical leadership and manages the department’s operation and personnel in order to deliver a high level of service, quality performance and production. Required Experience: Previous Senior Healthcare Program Manager/C-Level Executive experience required. Roles and Responsibilities: •Strategic planning •Direct and manage information technology strategic plans, policy programs and schedules of business processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. •Advise executive team on priority systems conversions, integrations and projects in support of business goals and objectives. •Establish company infrastructure to support and guide departments in information technology efforts. •Establish and implement short and long term departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating policies. •Ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines and equipment. •Information Systems Operations •Oversees the consistency and maintainability of existing and new applications by creating, maintaining and enforcing standards/procedures for technical solutions. •Ensures the best hardware, software and computer devices are utilized throughout the organization. •Keeps abreast of all regulatory guidelines that affect the organization relevant to IT. •Makes any applicable adjustments or changes to policies and procedures based on changes in laws and regulations and communicates changes to those with a need to know. •HIPAA Security Officer •Develops the HIPAA Security Policies and Procedures. •Develops training and provides subsequent training for employees and clients as necessary and in coordination with the HIPAA Privacy Officer. •Acts as an up-to-date and current resource for clients through research and responds to questions. •Communicates changes to clients by memo, telephone and seminars in coordination with the HIPAA Privacy Officer. •Team Development •Evaluates the IT division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities, where possible, of individuals. •Actively participates in the full hiring life cycle. •Customer Service •Provides timely and thorough follow up with staff, internal and external customers. •Appropriately escalates difficult issues up the chain of command. •Acts as a role model in demonstrating the core values in customer service delivery. •Quality Assurance •Serves on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams to assist in improving quality/customer satisfaction. •Recognizes and alerts appropriate member of the Executive Team of trends that fall outside of quality parameters. •Provides ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance. •Collaborates with others and cross-departmentally to improve or streamline procedures. •Develops new or improves current internal processes to improve quality. Minimum Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master’s degree preferred. •Demonstrated experience with IT systems and IT management as a senior level with a sequence of increasing responsibilities preferable in a health care or insurance environment. •Familiar with health care or health care related organization is expected. •Proven record of successful large project implementations. •Demonstrated business savvy to work effectively with other executives to achieve key business and technological goals. •Position requires a high level of all forms of communication skills; written, verbal listening. •Minimum of five years management/leadership experience with demonstrated success. •Demonstrated extensive working knowledge of applications, hardware, and software systems. •Demonstrated organizational skills, problem-solving, analytical skills and detail oriented.
