Arsenal are set to sign young Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Matt Macey after the player had a successful trial with the club. The highly rated 18 year old had attracted the attention of a host of other clubs and last month Rovers confirmed that they were in talks with both Arsenal and Everton in regards to the transfer of the keeper. #Arsenal are ready to offer Macey a three year deal and that Arsenal will be required to pay Bristol Rovers compensation for securing his signature. #Macey is a product of the Bristol Rovers Academy having joined the club in 2009 before signing on as a full-time scholar in 2011 when he turned 16.
