Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has taken full responsibility for his sides humiliating 6-0 loss to Chelsea on Saturday. The Gunners were completely outclassed by Jose Mourinhos team, running riot against them at Stamford Bridge. On a memorable occasion that Wenger was marking his 1000th game in charge of the club, there was nothing to cheer for the Frenchman as he watched his team torn apart by his great foe,Mourinho. Wenger described the defeat as one of the worst days in his career, saying after the game: This is my fault, he was quoted as saying on BBC Sport. We got a good hiding. You dont prepare all week to experience that. I dont think theres too much need to talk about the mistakes we made, he added. Its how we respond now on Tuesday night [against Swansea] and the best way is not to explain too much the mistakes. Wenger is currently the longest-serving manager in the English Premier League, and has only become the fourth coach after Sir Matt Busby, Dario Gradi and Sir Alex Ferguson - to attain the 1,000-match landmark with one club in England.
