Arsenal trounced last weeks conquerors of Chelsea, Newcastle United 4-1 at the beautiful home of football, Emirates Stadium. The peoples team were in an uncompromising mood despite having 10 of their first team players out injured. Football displayed on Saturday was out of this world, had it not been for scandalous refereeing, Gunners could have won by more than a half dozen goals. Another dreadful performance by the referee who surely had an agenda to derail us. How Newcastle managed to avoid the bookings they deserved is beyond me, Tiote managing to kick Sanchez in the chest without repercussion and then Bellerin was booked for his first innocuous foul. Ridiculous decision to disallow the Welbeck great goal as well. Luckily we played well enough that this refereeing thing Lee Masons performance was irrelevant, great results against 12 men. When are the police going to investigate the criminal referees, though? Tiote alone could have had three or four straight reds, and Newcastle werent just lucky to finish with ten men, they were lucky not to have multiple players sent off. How Janmaat survived is also beyond me. Something to think about on the injury front, as well, since the refs consistently let thugs like Tiote and Janmaat get away with kicks and stamps on our players, its no surprise we have a problem with injuries, thanks to referees not protecting Gunners talented players. For how long shall we continue enduring the wrath of inept English referees? Chelsea at it again, diving all their way to stealing all 3 points against Hull winning 2-0. Where is pretty strange, when you think about it, is how did Chelsea get this good? Not good in the sense of playing inspiring, exciting football, but in the sense of killing off the game’s competitive element using dirty tactics. How do they manage to snuff teams out this quickly with their cheating habits? How can a match with 83 minutes still to play nevertheless be so devoid of life? Perhaps things might have been different had referee Chris Foy decided to send Chelsea’s cheating Gary Cahill off early in the second half. Bizarrely, he did not, and instead it was Hull who were reduced in number, as Tom Huddlestone spent the last half-hour in the dressing room for a lazy challenge on Filipe Luis. With his dismissal, any remaining doubt over the outcome was extinguished. Couldnt agree more with Maureen My players are clean, we dont dive. It is sufficiently appalling that they do dive and oh boy oh boy they can dive like swimmers. Cahill, Costa, but even more disgusting that their manager tries to persuade the watching public otherwise. How sad that such an arrogant anti football manager is allowed to continue defending barbarism in front of TV cameras? I guess Maureen is conveniently blind to Gary Cahiils blatant dive for which he should have been sent off (second Yellow). Yet another referee scared to give decisions against Chelsea bottles it and helps Chelsea to win! Chelsea are a team of divers and cheats. Poor poor professionalism. Hope they get whats coming to them for their extremely poor sportsmanship and lack of decency. They are a shame to football, thanks to Jose s extremely dangerous philosophy! Man U once again are shocked to find themselves getting 3 points they didnt deserve after yet another diabolical performance against Liverpool, a team which is crumbling very fast. The quality of play from Fletcher, Evans, Jones and Smalling has descended into irrelevance and Carrick is close to retiring. What does it say about a team with some of the most expensive outfield players in the league that the goalkeeper is man of the match? isnt there something wrong with that picture? Im actually more alarmed by United in the last 6 matches than the 6 before those. The quality of performances is nothing short of criminal. What is this philosophy their manager has been going on about since the summer? Is it a footballing myth? All I see is an expensively assembled team that cannot pass 3 times without forfeiting the ball or who after a single ball in their half, concede chance out of nothing. Surely how can their fans accept a manager with such repute, profile, pedigree and ego, he is utterly incapable of extracting a half decent performance from expensive professionals. Fellaini is not a footballer that can pass, control and run. He is a big unit, occasionally chests the ball well and often just clumsily obstructs opponents by elbowing them out. Red Devils should seek a judiciary review on the transaction that took players like Falcao, Jones, Di Maria to their club. Virtually all the summer signings are injured too because they were bought injured, worst of money. What a mess!
