Arsene Wenger has promised revenge for the worst defeat of his Arsenal career. Wenger described the six-goal drubbing at Chelsea last March as the lowest point - even worse than the 8-2 humiliation at Manchester United in 2011. Not only was it against his bitter rival Jose Mourinho - who Wenger has never beaten in 11 meetings - and the game was his 1,000th in charge of Arsenal. The Gunners boss insisted his men are determined to set the record straight at Stamford Bridge on Sunday by defeating their title rivals. Wenger said: It was a massive, massive disappointment. It was the lowest point of the season. When we lost 8-2 at Old Trafford, we had no team on the day, we had nobody at the back - so that was explainable. The players will want to put things right after last season and will be up for it on the day. I will never forget that day, but was very proud with how we responded. But on the other hand I must say [about the Chelsea defeat] that afterwards we showed great strength. The way we responded until the end of the season would not have happened at many clubs. We were very strong until the end of the season.
