Arsene Wenger sides have a history of epic meltdowns, spectacular implosions....his sides have thrown away more titles than they have won. We won 3 under Wenger (very poor stat considering the players he has had at his disposal over the years), but his sides blew titles in 1999, 2003, 2008, 2011....we have history here. For instance, take after the Carling Cup final defeat in 2007, we then exited all 3 Cups in about 16 days (Blackburn in FA-Cup Replay, and PSV in C.L)....we done the exact same in 2011 after the Carling Cup final loss, we exited all 3 cups in 13 days, breaking our own 2007 record. In fact, in season 2007/08 Arsenal made their best ever start to a season since the formation of the Premier League in 1992, while Mancs made their worst start since the inaugural Premier League in 1992/93...We were something like 6 points clear after defeating Blackburn 2-0, in a Monday evening game on Monday Feb 11th 2008, the last league game before the infamous Eduardo game on Sat 23rd Feb...we collapsed in spectacular fashion, and Wenger could not/ or would not do anything to address and counter this, as his motivational skills are very limited. Now all our players talk the talk, waffle on about how much they respect, admire le-boss Wenger, but for me, actions speak louder than words, and the actions of the players who make the same mistakes year in year out, get red carded for stupid incidents all the time, well their very actions show what they REALLY think of Wenger, because if they truly admired and respected him, well they would do their utmost to move up to the "next level" and actually win stuff for their manager they are supposed to think so much of...I personally think he lost the dressing room years ago...Paul.
