Art, I am stunned by the genius of some. Some can see genius where I struggle. Clover Moore in Sydney can see this genius and has convinced the council to build a milk crate for Millions of dollars. In Melbourne performance art at the Fringe Festival is funded by tax payers for big money and in my opinion for little value. I wonder what it would cost to have these street performers come to Melbourne? As the comment on the link below says things really kick into gear at .... but wait until 2.40, 5.15 and 5.56. The highlight for me was not where the passers by watched spellbound but at 6.50. But wait there is more.....they do return. . Uneducated peasants may not appreciate this art but I do. Ive just checked with MOMA and evidently Fluxus can be categorized as Neo-Dada so thats a relief, I was a little worried. . Seriously this is why artists need money.These people cant possibly actually be living and functioning on their own in modern society...wait, THATs the point. Its that any society that allows such people to roam free is on the final terminal glide-path.
