Art Schulz suggested five ways to protect and strengthen our demonstrations of Christmas. Here’s an excerpt from his fifth suggestion: “Work to have your own ‘midnight clear’ of revelation.” “The Christmas star sheds a new light of understanding on people, on situations, on all human problems. Let us let that light shine on us and through us. It will thaw out the coldness within us, illumine darkness, dissolve fearful shadows, and add a sparkle of beauty. The light moves forward, and to stay in its illumination we must move forward with it. The manger has moved ahead of us, and the discovery of last Christmas was glorious, but it’s behind us now.
