Art does not come from the mind. It either comes from the heart or from the soul. When one is in turmoil the other is often infected as well and that passion for creation suffers. You do what you have to do to get it out. It is not by choice, believe me it is not. Until I can find whatever inspiration it is that is needed I would consider it rude on my part to even try to produce a work that someone is paying good money for. It would not be my best, it would feel too much like telling a lie. I have no wishes to spend any more amount of time falling into depression, or self pity, or anger. I cast no blame. Rather I do need to mourn over a few situations, find ways to let go, to gain some reason and understanding, gather strength and will power, reorganize then refocus. Hopefully sooner than later I will return with cartoons and paintings and a plethora of other doodles. In the meantime I wish to say from the bottom of my heart thank you to anyone who not only has purchased one of my pieces, but to anyone who has cherished, stood in awe, or found even an ounce of joy in one.
