Arthritis can make exercise difficult. But when done correctly and safely exercise including strength training can be very beneficial to people with arthritis. Tufts University completed a strength-training program with older men and women with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. Study results showed that strength training: decreased pain by 43% increased muscle strength improved physical performance improved signs and symptoms of the disease decreased disability If you suffer from arthritis and have questions on how to exercise, please feel free to contact one of our trainers.
