Arthur needs rescue ASAP. He is in California, but one of our supporters Katherine Brooks wants him out so bad she is willing to go get him and fly him back with her by plane. All we need is a foster home to save this little guy. Arthur is 7-year-old black male Patterdale Terrier mix who was found as a stray on January 5th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing 17 lbs, Arthur is a sweet, low-key guy who strikes us as a top-notch lap companion! Just too cute with his long body and black coat that appears to be powdered with white both on his muzzle and feet, this is one pooch that just begs to be held and spoiled. And boy does he love his treats (especially his puppy pepperoni!), so we expect that he will be easy to train when given food as motivation. Arthur gets along well with other dogs and walks solidly on leash. As he goes, he is sniffy and curious about his surroundings (a bit of an explorer!), but he always remains calm and composed. This sweet soul will fit seamlessly into just about any living situation, but we think that he might just be tailor-made for a senior given his lower energy level.
