Arthur paced the hallway outside of his bedroom. Scorpius was inside examining Molly. Molly had developed Alzheimers a few years back, and she had progressively gotten worse. The only people she could remember were Arthur and Scorpius. Arthur heard muffled voices, but couldnt make out any of the conversation. He feared his wife was nearing the end of her life. Scorpius exited the room and walked over to his grand father. Grandpa, you need to get the family here tonight. I dont think Grandma is going to make it past tomorrow morning. Scorpius said, tears in his eyes. All signs point to, well, you know. Arthur chocked back a sob as he nodded. He sent owls to all his children and their families, and had Scorpius use the Floo network to tell Charlie. Within the hour, all the Weasleys and Potters were at the Burrow, sitting around the table. One by one, each child and grandchild went to Molly and Arthurs room to say their goodbyes to the Weasley Matriarch. At last, it was Arthurs turn. With a heavy heart, he climbed the stairs and opened the door. He looked at his wife, lying there on the bed, looking the worst hed ever seen her. She smiled when she saw him. It gave Arthur a sense of relief that Molly remembered him. Molly, I love you. I always have and I always will. Youve given me children, youve loved me, and youve supported me. Now that youre ill, I realized that you could have done better. You could have found a richer man, or a smarter one at least. Ill never understand why you picked me, but Im so glad you did. Arthur grabbed her hand and held it. Soon her breathing came shallow. She hadnt said anything in ages, so when she opened her mouth, Arthur was startled. She was struggling to say something, but Arthur couldnt figure it out. Scorpius! Arthur called. Can you come up here please? Scorpius came running. What is it, Grandpa? Scorpius asked, then he heard Mollys attempts. He listened closely. Grandpa, shes saying Arthur. Arthur cried openly then. Molly, Im here. I always will be. Ill always love you. Molly quieted then and a smile flickered across her lips as she slipped into death peacefully. Arthur put his free hand over his wifes heart. Rest in sweetest peace, Mollywobbles. Ill love you forever. ~Sev
