Artist Brian Scott was thrilled when veteran Canadian aviator “Stocky” Edwards agreed to sign his print “19 Wing Perspective”, which depicts CFB Comox and the Comox Valley. “There’s a natural connection between Stocky and 19 Wing Comox,” says Scott, “as Stocky’s achievements as an RCAF “Ace” pilot during WWII and his post-war leadership are legendary in aviation circles. He retired in the Comox Valley in 1972, is an Honourary Member of the Comox Air Force Museum and a Lifetime Member of the 19 Wing Officers’ Mess.” The prints, signed by Mr Edwards, are available from the Comox Military Family Resource Centre and at Mr Scott’s Art Studio & Gallery in Black Creek, just in time for Father’s Day. familyforce.ca/sites/Comox/EN/Fundraising/Pages/BrianScott19WingPerspective.aspx
