Artist: Carlos C. Laínez More than just the cat painter Juan Carlos C. Lainez is a Spanish painter and illustrator, graphic designer and - sometimes - also writer. In Spain, he was known for his artfully illustrated books that will delight young and old. Especially his Historias de Gatos became so popular that he generally - is regarded as cats and dogs painter poet - in spite of an extensive oeuvre.
