Artist of the week: Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick has risen to legendary status in hip hop since the release of Good Kid, M.A.A.D City in 2012, bringing intelligent hip hop into the mainstream. Arguably the current king of the west coast and self-professed king of New York as well, Kendrick is undeniably at the top of the game at the moment.
