Artistically and musically this is excellent, perhaps more melodic than the previous records. A brighter sound overall, guitar work is fantastic. The band seems tighter, more rockin - dare I say it - Zeppelinish. Plenty of cowbell here... :-) The overall message seems to be pro-socialist and anti-capitalist. By this time Pink Floyd had become a rich rock band that has financially benefited from extreme exploitation of the hippie 1960s drug culture, drawn from untold amounts of natural resources for their extensive tours, albums, and merchandise sales - in a free market, and thrived as a private business venture - how can they genuinely promote the ill-conceived notion that the 99% would want equality by destroying the very free market that PF has gained from? I have another question: Why do so many rich Artists become whiny, Godless Atheists who want Socialism? It makes no sense to me... ha ha, charade you are would apply to those Artists... great music and lyrics nevertheless. https://youtube/watch?v=WFxYPkfkd5c
