Artists being sought for public art on Dike Road The city of Coeur d’Alene’s Arts Commission is seeking artists for an art piece to be installed along the Centennial Trail in the Higher Education Campus. The goal for this art placement is to recognize the culture and history of the Coeur dAlene Tribe. Officials hope to inspire higher learning, reflect the history and formation of our community and portray the diverse groups that created our city. Information packets are available at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Avenue, or online at cdaid.org. Artist proposals are due by 5 p.m., January 9, 2015.
