As 2014 comes to an end... All I can think of is the fact that mama wont be here for 2015. You see, Amy Vasquez and I talk about our mom a lot... Thats because she was our world and we were hers. I consider our relationship with our mama to be a blessing in so many ways, but being here without her??? June 2nd 2001- Nov 8th 2014... We fought! Mamas life was a precious gift and we did all we could to make sure she had all she needed. Every doctors appt, surgery, chemo and radiation... We were there. Fighting hand in hand for every single breath she took. You know why? Because, This woman; Sherrie Johnson Cassidy fought for us. She worked her butt off to help pay the bills. She kept house, did all the laundry all while working 3rd shift 12 hrs. She would work all night... Come home and get just enough sleep so she could get up and clean and cook for her husband and her family. She was there each step Amy and I took, every decision... Through out our failures and our victories... Mama was there. Now, here we are... After watching our mom, our hero and best friend suffer from one of the worst physical diseases... We are here, without her. Its hard. Pls continue to pray for us; her children... And her precious grand babies of whom she dearly loved. Our lives feel upside down... No amount of crying, screaming or second questing will bring her back. We are happy shes healed and in heaven... We just need strength and peace to make it through it day without her. She was our life.
