As 2014 draws to a close I am sure that those of you still up at the midnight-hour will be wishing the New Year in and of course if you tune in to the T/V our Northern neighbours will be bringing it in with their usual gusto style. So a HAPPY NEW YEAR for 2015 to all members on all Rhondda Sites and leave you with the song Auld Lang Syne sung by that great female artist Sissel (Live). So what does the title Auld Lang Syne mean? Well, exact interpretations vary, though they all carry a similar meaning. Old long since, long, long ago, days gone by and old times are all possible meanings. The cup of kindness mentioned in the chorus refers to a drink shared between friends.
