As 2015 is here, makes you look at 2014. I took the last few months to work as hard as I can, and yes started standing and walking with assistance. My daughter got a car, my husband started filling in for things so I could work out and go to therapy, my son is saying hes not so sure about sports any more. The kids are 13 and 15, and I cant change that, and I have to hope I have molded them to make good decisions. As I look at my situation, you start to see how many others have injuries levels that are higher than mine and just a simple scratching of the nose or getting hair out of the face is a chore. I ask all of you on New Years resolutions to think how you can help someone today. Give their caregiver time to themselves, help modify a house, cook a dinner, clean a house, go to the store for them, anything to try to give back. Or just give a few minutes of your time. I will make this part of my New Years resolution. Like in my instance, I keep giving back and helping others and god in turn, gave back to me. Happy New Year everyone!
