As Advertised? A self-proclaimed serial prankster and You-tube - TopicsExpress

As Advertised? A self-proclaimed serial prankster and You-tube aficionado has posted his latest upload, already viewed over 2 million times in its first 3 days. The subject was to film “fast food ads vs reality” experiment. In this 3 ½ minute piece, the writer travels to McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in the Box, and Wendy’s with a hidden camera. He orders an item from the menu, then goes to his table and compares the item he ordered with the item that’s shown in the ad. None of them looked the same. When he took the product and a photo to the employees, they all agreed that it did not match the photo and they remade his order. In the same amount of time, the order came looking very close to the ad. The point? Accountability. Look into your Bible and see if what your church is advertising—salvation in Christ, Bible teaching and preaching, authentic Christian living—is what’s really going on. The Bible teaches one church, one way, and one faith. Does your church look like the picture of the first century church in the Bible? That’s what the Churches of Christ are calling for, a restoration movement to restore first century Christianity in the 21st century. This is in the Bible, as advertised. Steven Guy
