As Biotechnologist and practical Bioengineer with advanced training in Molecular and Cell Biology I found this Ayat of Quran extremely advanced Biology without saying a word directly about Biology. It explains how ecosystem and organisms work and also touches on evolution. It also points out to survival of individual organism. It also lets us know that evolution is directed (not as directed evolution a term understood by 21th century Biologists). Thus God chooses which species are to survive or to be extinct. There are other parts of Quran also explains reverse evolution where more advanced and favored Biological forms are demoted to lower forms of life by the will of God and as out come of actions of those organisms. But that is out of this post and Ayat. I understand an ignorant person might not understand this and oppose it. Or extremely ignorant and follower of Abu-Jahl Richard Dawkins might repeat words of Dawkins. Do not mind them for they understand not and for it is not will of God to guide them.
