As Christians strive to become scriptural people, they will see the fruitful promises of God take root in their hearts, families, and churches. This is not to suggest that biblical living makes everything wonderful…but it makes everything right. Right in the sense that God never wavers and is always the same; right in that there does exist an absolute and definitive response to matters of life; and right in that the pursuit of holiness, the mandate of Christ. Paul wrote: Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things (Phil 4:8).
