As Congress remained stagnant yesterday, Pres. Barack Obama took to the links. Yes, in the middle of the worst budget crisis in 17 years, Obama went golfing. His round on Oct. 1 marked the president’s 35th round of golf this year. That’s more than he played in all of 2012. Last year he played 19 total rounds; in 2011, he played 34 rounds, and in 2010, he played 30. It looks like Obama’s bit a bit lax in his second term as president. On Oct. 2, Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade criticized the president for relaxing when the entire nation is in financial turmoil. “This is a crisis…why would you even want to golf? Every inkling for me would be, ’let’s roll our sleeves up and make this work!’” Kilmeade said.
